Andreas Ritzer has a background in Japanese Studies, Interpreting Studies and International Studies. He gained professional experience, inter alia, in the UN, the Austrian Embassy in Pretoria, a Paris based foundation for the remembrance of deportation, at the Council of Europe and in a Tokyo Municipal Office. He has lived in four different countries (Austria, Japan, France and South Africa). Currently, he is working in the Austrian public administration.
