Erich Arthold has been a member of the Board of the Vienna Boys’ Choir since 2009 and its its president since 1 December 2022.
From 1974 to 1978 Arthold was a Vienna Boys’ Choirboy. After graduating from the MusikgymnasiumNeustiftgasse, he studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Graduated with a Master’s degree at the beginning of 1990.
After EU enlargement in 2004, initiation and implementation of a multi-year exchange program between the Czech Philharmonic, Slovenian Philharmonic, Slovakian Philharmonic, Tonkünstlerorchester and Hungarian National Philharmonic.
